VAMPIRE II roll out
(27. 5. 2010)We are proud to announce that after intensive and almost one year long lasting engineering and designing work, the Flying Machines unveils the new and improved Vampire II. The Vampire II roll out took place on May 20, 2010. The aircraft has completely new streamlined tail section, modified interior and the airframe utilizes more carbon fiber for even higher rigidity. Carbon and Kevlar are now used also in the cockpit, which offers pilots greater protection when needed. The new ergonomic leather seats provide comfort on long flights. All the refinements helped not only to improve its already successful predecessor Vampire, but also helped to keep the empty weight where it belongs in ultralight aircraft. The Vampire II empty weight including all equipment is now 260 kg.
