WELCOME TO FLYING MACHINES SITE

The company Flying Machines s.r.o. was established at the beginning of 2004, after a group of flying enthusiasts decided to utilize experience that they have gained through building different types of ultralight aircraft. Besides designing work and co-operation on other aviation projects and before the company came to existence, the group designed and built ultralight aircraft B612. The prototype was a successful design of an ultralight airplane with fully retractable landing gear. In 2003 this airplane set historically first Czech national record in UL category, which still is a valid world speed record.
In addition to aerodynamically controlled ultralight aircraft, the company produces ultralight weight shift trikes. In 2004, a two seater trike called Carbon One was built in co-operation with the French company Aviatec. It is a comfortable and practical trike, which can also be used for cross country flights. Carbon One is the first all composite two seater trike utilizing sandwich construction bagged in negative molds.
The last and so far the most important project of the company is an all composite two seater ultralight aircraft FM 250 Vampire. The plane is at the cutting edge of the ultralight aircraft category and in some aspects even trumps airplanes of higher categories. Its construction utilizes modern aircraft grade materials including carbon fibers. Light materials and meticulous work result in an aircraft with extremely low empty weight.
FM 250LSA Mystique is an S-LSA version of ultralight FM 250 and was designed for American LSA market. Maximum take-off weight of the Mystique is 1,320lb. It was first displayed at the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo 2007 in Sebring, Florida, where it gained much favor from the public.
The company Flying Machines s.r.o. would like to continue producing high quality ultralight aircraft and keep its customers and ultralight pilots satisfied.
